SEDDON IN BRISBANE.

Received, this day, at 9 35 a.m. Brisbane, This Day. Seddon aboard the Government yacht Lucinda welcomed the troops. At the banrjuct last night Seddon stated that he was endeavoring to arrange for direct steam service between Queensland and New Zealand. He proposed the success of Queensland. Philip replying said that if the request of ten thousand troops referred to in the press cables was correct his State would contribute their quota.
