SPECTRAL OPERA COMPANY.
Last night the Opera House as was to bo expected again contained a very large audience who were delighted with the productions of “Faust” aided by spectral effects, some of tho latter being particularly startling and realistic. Those who were prevented from attending last night should not lose the opportunity of being there this evening if any to witness this fine lyric drama aided by such “uncanny” stage appliances. An excellent musical programme followed and then came one of the most amusing farces ever staged entitled "Muddlehead in a Fix,” which sent the audience home in rare good humour. We have been requested to announce that Mr Northcote has arranged to have the usual Saturday nights train to Brunner delayed until 10 -15 in order to give residents of that place an opportunity of witnessing one of h's very interesting entertainments.
