Fatal Buggy accident, Hawer.v, This Day. Henry White, a crippled youth, was being driven to the Hawora hospital when the horse bolted. The occupants were thrown to the ground. About one-third will be reared at Hakateramea hatcheries, and tho rest at Lake Ohau. The 800.000 which were expected from Canada will not bo forwarded till next season. Arrivals and Departures. The return of immigration and emigration show that 2,348 persons arrived in the colony in November (43 more than in November of 1899) and 747 went away as against 798 in the corresponding month. The ’Frisco Mail Steamer. The mail steamer Sierra is expected to he a day late in leaving Sydney, owing to ' delay arising from the recent breakdown. Health Department.
