Iu is announced that on the ro-assein-hhug of Parliament the Government will avail themselves of the earliest opportunity to ascertain whether or not thev I'O -sess the confidence of the House. ihe French Government have issued circular notes to the European Powers favoring the union of Bulgaria and ' Eastern Ronmelia under Prince Alexander.
ihe Porte has also issued a circular to the I ewers, inviting them to an entente on ihe Balkan question.

Arrangements have.been concluded by which King Theebaw and his Queen will he detained here. A residence has been provided for them, and though not. kept close prisoners, they will be kept under surveillance.
