BELGRADE, November IG. Advices state that desperate lighting has taken place between the Servian and Bulgarian forces. The former succeeded in turning the position at the Dragoman Pafs and forced the Bulgarians to retreat upon Slionitza. BERLIN. November 17. The decision of his Holiness the Pope respecting the Caroline Islands was made known to-day. His Holiness recommends the German Government to recognise the claim of Spain to the territory in question, and accept the commercial concessions offered by Spain. SOFIA. November 17.
