I hereby apply for a Gold-Mining Lease of the lands hereinafter described, in accordance with the Gold-Mining Leases Regulations of New Zealand, and agree, npon the approval of this application to execute a Lease upon the basis therein stated, if the Governor shall think fit to grant the same. Edward OMlara Canavan. Applicant.

Amount of Capital proposed to be invested £0,500. Proposed mode of working the Land. Driving for Quartz and by' Crushing Machinery. Precise Locality. South and by West of Red Hill Gold Mining Lease and adjoining it. Term for which Lease is required,
15 Years. Time of commencing Operations, Upon granting of Lease. General Remarks,
The land applied for does not include any other right or privilege. The above application and any objection thereto will be heard at the Warden's Office at Collingwood on 10th April 1884.
Any person desiring to object to the issue of a Mining Lease upon the above application must, within 14 clear days from the date of such application, enter
his objection at the Warden’s Office at Collingwood.
