I hereby appi S’ for a Gold-mining 1 Lease of the lands hereinafter described, in accordance with die Gold-Mining Leases Regulations of New Zealand, and agree upon approval of this application to execute a Lease upon the basis therein stated, if the Governor shall think fit to grant the same.

Extent of ground applied for, Acres, Minimum Number of Men proposed to be employed by the Lessee. For the first 0 months 2 men, Subsequently when m full work 12 men. Amount of Capital proposed to be m\ested, Five Thousand Pounds Stg, (£8,000) Proposed Mode of Working the Land, Tunnelling and Crushing L»y Machinery Precise Locality Bounded on the north by the ; ‘Red IT ill'’ Gold-mining Lease, south and east by Crown Lands, west by Saw pit Gully and Crown Lands. Term for which Lease is required, 15 years Time of Commencing Operations, upon Granting of Lease. The above application and any objection thereto will be heard at the W arden's Office at Collingwood on the 10th of April, 1884. Any' person desiring to object to the issue of a Mining Lease upon the above application must, within 14 clear days from the date of such application, enter his objection at the Wardens's Office at Collingwood.
