The Niger Territory.
(Per Press Association.) London, November 7. Ranter's agency announces it has received authoritative intimation that the rtatemeofc of Earl Solbome, Parhaunitary Secretary to the Colonial Office, to the effect the Government contemplated throwing open the K^* 1 *££ Company's territories to all traders indicates the assumption at an early date of more direct control and either the withdrawal of the Company's charter or separation of trading from the administrative function of the Company.
