The matches set down for Mr Yates' Feathers and also for the Winter Feathers will be played on Wednesday next.
The drawing for places of the remaining teartiß will take place shortly, when the results will bo published.
A friendly match between the following will, weather and preen permitting, be played to-morrow afternoon at three o'clock : — Carthew, Wyllic, Dickson, Thomson (skip) (holders of Yatcs' Feathers) ; and Curtis, Scott, Bray, junr., Saywell (skip).
The residents of Woodvillc arc contemplating the formation of a Bowling Club, and th« secretary of the Palmerston Club has supplied them with full particulars.
