There was beautifully fine weather for the ladies' day thrugh a strong wind blew. Results : —

Flying Stakes — Auruni 1, Kp3 t 2, Amberite 3. Won by half a length ; Amberite a neck away third. Time, lmin 30^sec.

V.H.C. Oaks— Elusive 1, Mirella 2, Zitella 3. Won by a short half head. Time, 2iuin 44sec.

Veteran Stakes — Positano and Bundook rnn a dead heat for first place ; Catspaw third. The owners agreed to divide. Time, 2min 36sec.
