A native mounted rifle corps bas been formed in Masterton. Tbe Goveroment bas accepted the services of tbe company. Tbe Manchester Rifle* held a company parade last night. There waH a modarate attendance- After inspection by Captain Kirton the men were exercised in squad, company, and bayonet drill by Setjjt. Aitkcn. Corporals Humphrey aud Fisher, and volunteer Pleasants. Some very good work was done.
