The Rebellion in the Phillipine Islands.
(Per Press Association.) Sydney, This Day. Eastern news reports the rebellion in Phillipine Islands continues to spread. Several Spanish detachments in tbe interior have been surrounded and some were end to pieces. One place was sur prised and 18 Spanish soldiers killed. A regiment quelled tbe outbreak and shot 40 rebels dead. A large number of armed convicts have joined tbe rebels.
