Charitable Aid Conference.

(Per Press Association.) Wellington, This Day. The Committee appointed by tbe Charitable Aid Conference on tbe subject of outdoor relief reported that it should be wholly in the hinds of tbe Cnaritable Aid Boards elected by tbe local contributing bodies, the representatives of the ratepavert; that farms and industrial institutions should be established near large cities for ablebodied persons of both sexes and the Government be asked to assist ; that a differential mode of applying relief should exist between larec centres md smaller towns; deserted women and children should be housed in cottages provided by the Boards, and the Boards should supply rations direct instead of through contractors, Consideratioc was postponed.
