About twenty members of ;he Feilding Cricket Club were present at the first practice of the season yesterday after- , noon. Sides were selected xnd a good practice was held, thu groui.d being in first class order. On Saturday next the Cheltenham Cricket Club will play matches apainst tlie Boaconsfield Club and the Kiwitea Sawmill Club. The following teams have been selected to play against i.he Beaconsfield CJub: — Messrs J. Hare. Brown, A. Barrow, Liddle, J. Barrow, Viles, Fowler, "\V. -Mills. J. Mills, Pratt, Bruce. Emergencies. Banks, Daniels, Tnp[ in. Against the Kiwitea Sawmill Club .-—Messrs S. Tappin, Banks, Daniels, Gibson, Tappin, Jiodgors, Mcl'arlanc, Kmart . Day, .laggard. Emergencies, A. Mil s, J). Elliy, Meehan. Thomas. All members are particularly requested to tur 1 up so that the selection committee cmi pick the team for the 30th. Both matches will be played tit Cheltenham. Wic iets pitched at 1 p.m. sharp.
