The Seal Fisheries Dispute.

Reuter is responsible for the statement tbat Great Britain has finally declined to take part in a conference on the seal fisheries question at which representatives of Russia and Japan are to be present, and further, tbat she will not agree even to their presence at such a conference in the capacity of spectators. Ottawa, October 7. The Hon W. S. Fielding, Minister of Finance, has expressed himnelf as highly satisfied with Great Britain's attitude in regard to a conference on tbe seal fisheries dispute.
