The Poultry Industry.
0 (Per Press Association.) Wellington, Oct. 8. As evidence that the efforts of the Government to encourage the poultry industry are appreciated is tbe fact tbat the Department of Agriculture is nnable to supply more tban one half the eggs for breeding purposes tban have been applied for. The Department hopes, however, to satisfy the demand before the season for breeding closes. The ponltry raising establishments at the various lunatic asylnma are doisig well.
