(Per Press AsHociation.) ADELAIDE, Oct. 7. The cricket, season opened with a phenomenal record by Jones, the well known bowler, who was playing for North Adelaide against We6t Torrens. Jones captured six wickets at a cost of only one run. His first ball bowled Fred Jarvis, the champion of the opposing team, the second wicket fell with the total at seven, and the third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth went down without any additional score.
