. Q . |From our own correspondent.] Tbe ladies' bracelet competition in con nection with above took place on tbe range last Saturday, and brought out 16 competitors. Tbe shooting was only fair, tbe wind being very choppy, which puzzled some of the shootistn. Mr a Petti pew's score of 33, out of a possible 35, beinti tbe only individual effort which caused any comment. The following are the scores:— 200 500 Hps. Tl
Mr A. Pettigrew secured the first prize of 20s ; Mr W. Johnston 2nd, of 15s; A. Barrow, 3rd, Miss Tompkins' special price; Mr F. Spencer 4th prize of 7n 6d ; Mr R S. Barrow sth prize, Mr A. Hawthorne's special prize, pair of spurs.
