Proposed Abattoir for Feilding.

o At last night's meeting of the Feilding Borough Council it was resolved, on the motion of Cr Gould and seconded by Cr Reid, " That a committee be formed, consisting of the Mayor (Mr W. A L. Bailey), Crs. Goodbehere, Fowles, Haybittle, and the mover, to consider the question ot establishing abattoirs, and to report to the next ordinary meeting of the Council." In moving the motion, Cr Gould said he made no apology in bringing it forward, as it was an important question, and it was necessary for someone to move in the matter. Cr Goodbehere did not think any councillor would object to the proposal if any feasible scheme was brought forward. The motion was carried without opposition.
