[fbom our own correspondent. l The Ronftotsn football concert which takes plaoe on Wednesday should be an unqualified success. The tickets are going off rapidly, especially the 2s reserved seats. As there will be performers from Paltnerston, Feilding, and Carnarvon there is no doubt a treat in store for those who visit the hall on the 9th inßt. The proceeds are to be devoted to ■well tbe Rangitikei Relief Fund. Representatives from Carnarvon, Sandon and Rongotea met at Waitohi and received the consent of Mr Hammond to me bis grounds and granary for a monster picnic on 22ad inst. There is to be a display of fireworks in the evening and a monster bonfire to celebrate the Record Reicn.
