Record Reign Celebrations.
(Per Press Association.) London, June 4. Nineteen yacbts bave entered for the Emperor William's Jubilee Cnp Race from Dover to Heligoland, which is to take place on tbe 22nd Jane. At the Military Tournament at tbe Agricultural Hall tbe New South Wales Mounted Rifles defeated tbe New South Wales Lancers in wrestling on borseback A detachment of the South Africa Chartered Company's Police have arrived to take part in Jubilee Celebrations. Mr Turner and Mr Kingston have arrived and were met at the station by Messrs Playford and Clarke, Agents General, and F. S. Wilson and Baillie Hamilton, of tho Colonial Office. They Were Riven a cordial reception and were drivon in the Queen's carriages to the Hotel Cecil. At tbe military tournament tent peg eing the silver cup was won by Sergt. Williams and the silver medal by Trooper Kobinson, of the New South Wales Lancers. A snggestion has been made that tbe Government should mark tbe record reign by releasing tbe Irish dynamiters. Mr Balfour is not disposed to fall in with the suggestions. Tbe contingents of the Australian troops by tho Orotava landed, and proceeded to St Paueral Station, where they were met by Mr Bailie Hamilton, of the Colonial Office. The drum and fife band of the Scots Guards wero also at the statiou, and played during the march to Chelsea Barracks. The colonials were greeted with much cheering en route. June 6. A special series of competitions have been arranged for Colonial Representatives at the National Rifle Association meeting at Bisley. The winners at these competitions will compete with tbe win ning members of the regular and auxillery forces for special prizes open to tho Empire.
