Mr Chamberlain and Mr Seddon

(Per Press Association.) London, June 5. In the course of an interview with Mr Chamberlain Mr Seddon learned that tho informal conf'erecce between the colonial Premiers and the authorities of the Colonial office will begiu after the Jnbi lee Celebrations. The subjects to be discussed will be closer trade relations between Britain and the colonies, proposals for tbe investment of trust funds, increase of the Australian Squadron and improvement of colonial land defences, registration with reference to the exclusion of aliens from the colonies, and questions bearing upon the administration of affairs in the Pacific, chiefly in Samoa. Mr Chamberlain thanked the colonies for their spleudid response to his invitation to participate in tbe jubilee celebrations, aud said he was delighted at the great change in British feeling with regard to the colonies, which was not a question of sentiment, but of conviction. He referred to tho increasing valne of trade between Britain and her colonies.
