♦ (Per Press Association.) Perth, June 3. An interesting discovery has been u^de by Professor Mnrganski in examining an apparently base ineta] obtained by dry blowing at Bulong, near K«l<;oorlie, and which hud bean thrown away by diggers. Samples which were taken gave 88 per cent of gold mixed with a coating of the base metal, the nature of which has not been discovered The sold was so coated that it was impossible to amalgamate it with quicksilver.
