War between Greece and Turkey.
o (Per Press Association.) Athens, May 26. The Cretan insnrgonts are raiding in the vicinity of Eetimo, and have burned the environs of the town. May 27. Signor Felice, a member of the Italian Chamber of Deputies, who has been acting as a volunteer in the-Grcek army, has been deported to Italy for grossly insulting Balli in his own office. It is reported lioie that Britain threatens to withdraw from the concert of tli6 Powers if Turkey is allowed to occupy any part of Thessaly, pending payment of the war indemnity to Greece. Reports from Lazo state that three hundred Turks crossed the nentral zone between tho avuiies in Thessaly, but were compelled by the Greek gendarmes to return, Sparta protested against this move ment as a violation of the armistice. London, May 27. The Times' correspondent at Larissa states that more fighting between the Turks and Greeks is expected shortly. Constantinople; May 27. The Turkish Grand Vizier,' Kalif Rifitat Pasha, implores the Sultan to retain Thessaly, otherwise, he contends, tho Sultan will alienate the sympathy and support of the Moslems. He remiudo the Saltan that be proved victorious when ho resisted European dictation with regard to Armenia.
