War between Greece and Turkey

The King of Greece is completely isolated from popular support. Berlin, May 25. Tbe Sultan has tbauHcd the Emperor for bis advice with regard to tbe war, and expressed a hope that William will show the victor how to obtain the rights accruing to him. St. Petersburg, May 25. Russia is willing to assume tbe amount of tbe Greek indemnity demanded by key on condition that she is allowed to deduct an equivalent amount from the indemnity due by Turkey to Russia on account of tbe Russo- Turkish war. Russia will then consent to the Powers taking control of the Greek debt. The Sultan opposes these suggestions.
