Allidavits by the detectives and pressmen were read confirmiuc; this. The Chief Justice said that it was most lamentable that interviews had beou allowed, and hoped the press would noyer again act so. The application was refused, but the case was placed last ou tbe list for the coming Criminal Sessions.
