Capetown Affairs.
(Per Press Association.) Capetown, May 2. In the coarse of a speech Sir Gordon Sprigs said he did not blame Britain for her action in increasing the garrison at the Cape. He indicated his intense anxiety for peace and advised that every means of diplomacy be resorted to before entering upon war.
