Projected Woollen Mills at Invercargill.
(Per Press Association.) Invercargill, April 29. A meeting convened by the Mayor at the request of business men was held to-night to discuss the question of starting woollen mills in tho vicinity of luvercargill. The project was favour, ably received and a committee was appointed to collect information bearing on the subject. Mr Kelly, M.H.R., suggested that the order of reference might be widened to permit of tho coma linen factory. Ho was no|; quite sure that there/was an opeoiug for a wqollon factory, so inuuy having' been esfcabHashed.
