Good Templars.
— •• o (Per Press Association.) Wellington, April 22. At a meeting of the Grand Lodse of Good Templars the Grand Secretary's report was read. It showed that there are 126 lodges in New Zealand with a membership of 421? members. Since the previous session of the Grand Lodge 49 members have since died. There are now six district lodges in existence. A motion to remove the Grand Lodge office from Dunedin to Wellington was lost by 67 votes to 19. The election oi afficers elicited considerable interest, Bro. Taylor (Thames) was reelected Grand Chief without opposition. Six sisters and two brothors were nominated for the office of Grand Vice Templar, after three ballots Sister Gunnell (Dnn« 2din) was elected to the position, secur-. ing 41 votes to Sister Cameron's 39. Five brothers and oue sister were nomi. aated for the office of Grand Counsellor, md after three ballots had been taken Bro. Walton (Greymouth), won, obtain, ng 40 votes to 39 votes for Sister Dameron. For Grand Superintendent >f Juvenile Temples three sisters and >ne brother were nominated.
