Apiti Football Club.
The annual meeting of tne above named club was held at Sullivan's Hotel on Monday evening last. Mr MacGuire was voted to the chair. The secretary, Mr W. E. Gascoigue, read the annual report from which we gather that the income from all sources during the year was £'32 13s 6d, and the expenditure £31 12s 6d. There were forty three members connected with the club, 16 was decided to again compete for the Championship of the Oroua Union. A vote of thanks was acoorded the Secretary for his services during the past year and ho was re-elected for the ensuing year. The election of officers resulted as follows: — Patron F V Lethbridge, Esq., M.H.R. ; Prosident, Mr B Miller ; vice-presidents, Messrs Sullivan, E F Eager, E F Gascoigne, H Osborno and F S Gay ; capt. W F MacGuire ; deputy ! Mr W James; committee: Messrs W ' H BeDnett, L Snow, C V Dally, P Kelling H H laddie ; match committee : Messrs 1 Liddle, Moyce, Gascoigne. James and , MacGuire; delegates to Oroua Union, , Messrs Liddle and W E Gascoigne. It 1 was decided to hold a scratch match at Apiti on Saturday next. '
