The combined subcommittees to-night decided to recommend schemes for the Diamond Jubilee celebration to tbe general committefi iv the following order : — Enlargement of the Jubilee Home for the aged first, City tepid hath second, erection municipal clock tower third. London, March 31. The Governrucnt is being urged to arraDge for tbe (.^ueeu to persoually give tbe signal for the beaming of the hymn of praise at Sfc Panl's on the occasion of her visit to the Cathedral in connection with the celebration, in order that simultaneous rejoicing iuay take place throughout the Empire. The cable companies declare that the proposal is ieasible.
