Birmingham Notes.

Some time ago I gave your readers a description of the Wesleyan annual Sunday school concert and during the evening tho prizes were distributed. One matter I forgot to mention, and as it is never too late to do the right thing, I now give honor to whom it is due. A young woman, viz., Miss Maude Cuff, taught in the school while she resided in Birmingham. Before leaving she left a nice testament to be given to the best behaved boy in the school. Thia fell to the lot of Ronald Smith. I feel pleasure in recording this incident.
I am told on very good authority that a Fife and Drum Band is about to be started at K.angiwabia, It is somewhat surprising that there is no baud in Birmingham, feeing that we have some musicians amongst us.
The rainfall at Peep o'-Day, as registered by Mr Fowler, was 6 3 sth inches for the year ending March 31, 1896, while for tho year ending March 28, 1897, it was 16 4 10th inches.
