A Sensational Murder.

J London, March 21. j A sensational murder trial has just j concluded, resulting in Miss Catherine I Kempsball, a London concert singer, being sentenced to death for shooting J Edgar Holland, a Liverpool merchant. ; Kempshall sued Holland for breach of promise of marriage, claiming ±10,000 damages. Subsequently, according to Kempshall, Holland, while denying she had a claim morally or legally npon him, promised as an act of kindness to send her money, Failing to keep his alleged promise, Kempshall, in November last visited Holland at his office at Liverpool, armed with a revolver and dagger. Angered by a demand made by Holland, that before he would do anything for her she mast sign a document I abandoning all claim against him, Kempshall fired three shots at him, all of which took effect on his chest. Holland lingered eleven days before h» died. Kempshall, in 1895, had twice' unsuccessfully sned Holland for breach ' of promise.
