+ The Committee of the Feilding Bowling Club met last evening when it was decided that the contest for Mrs Hartie's and Mr W. Hodren's medals should be for a Pairs Tournament, With that object " skips " were selected and paired, by drawing, with other players ; the pairs to play were then drawn with the following result : — Points. In cases where the players have been notified that their games will be played on a certain date, and any one or more fail to attend, the skip may select any other player from No. 2 list on the ground and take his (or their) place and in case the skip is absent No. 2 player may select a substitute. No. 2 list is as follows : — Davy, Kirton, Summers, Campbell, Goodbehere, Bull, Stevens, Coonabe, Bray, Bailey, Fowles, Healey, Belfit, Martin, Darragh, Cornfoot, Pleasants, Gosling, Mackay, Garlick, Burnett, Greenwood, Worsfold, Bagnall, Levett, A vote of thanks was accorded to Mrs Hastie for the medal presented by her. It was decided that all matches for the medals should have preference of the green, excepting in the event of a Palmerston team visiting Feilding for the purpose of competing for Mr Yates' feathers.
