New Zea land is quoted at 565. Hemp, unchanged. The English wheat market is quiet, but steady. The Continental has a downward tendency, American dull. The proposed American wool syndic cate is ridiculed in Bradford wool circles. It is stated that the leading American purchasers are unaware of its formation. The Board of Trade returns for March show that the imports increased by £1,768,428 and the exports decreased by L 1,639,413. CHARLES CARR'S STOCK SALE REPORT. Af; the Birmingham sale on Wednesday, the 3rd inst, the yards were well filled with both cattle and sheep, bidding was spirited, and nearly fall the stock was sold, fully maintaining recent yalne*. Feilding sale. Friday sth inst. This was one of the largest sales I bare had the pleasure of holding. Erery ayailable space was filled with a good class of both cattle and sheep. The attendance was very large, buyers plentiful, and bidding brisk, resulted in most of the stock changing hands at prices satisfactory to vendors.
