Feilding Fire Brigade

A Ren oral meeting of members of the Feilding Fire Brigade was held last evening at the engine shed. Present-Cap-tain A. Wilfion (in the ohair), Mr H. Worsfold (Secretary), Foreman A. W. Parker, Firemen W. Heald, W. Fljger, W. Hicks, E. Banger, P. Thomson, J. Humphrey. The letter from the Secretary of the Hawera Brigade calling the conference of delegates wan rtad, and the secretary explained that the time being to short the officers, after consulting together, had appointed Foreman Parker to represent this Brigade. Foreman Parker then submitted a lengthy report of the matters discussed at the conference, the main features of which have already been published. It was resolved, That Foreman Parker's report be received and that his action in supporting the formation of a West Coast Fire Brigade's Association be endorsed. Resolved, That a practice be held on Friday evening next at 7 o'clock when all members are requested to b« present. It was decided to strictly adhere (o the rules and 6tnke off the roll the names of all members who absent themselves from three consecutive meetings without permission. Resolved, That all ex-members of the Brigade who haye uniforms be requested to send them to the Secretary without delay. ■■«•-.
