Apiti School Concert.

A concert was given in Guy's Hall, Apiti, on Friday evening in aid of the school prize fund Although the night was wet there was a large attendance and a good programme was provided, all the items being given by children. Most of tho items were glees and choruses, but the programme included the duet " won't play in your yard " by the Misses Buckmau ; ''We're going to mortgage the farni 1: ' was given as a duet by Master Neil Eagar aud M^ss Lena Buckman ; the recitation " Kailway crossing " was given by Charles Osborne ; recitation, " Amateur photographer " Master Neil Eagar; "Dr Quack," a comic recitation, by Master Neil Eagar and Jas. Duneau ; a Scotch reel by plasters E. Gascoigne and N. Eagar aud Misses Fanny Geange and Emily St.ew£,r.i, who wcjfts trained by Mrs G. Duncan, was v.cry 'goqi and was encored.
