Anderson drawn, Grierson beat Edwards, Cocks beat Gifford, Barnes beat Pleasants, Mellor a bye. Barnes is leading for the championship with 7£ wins, 1£ losses. They meet in the next round and Barnes will win the championship unless Mellor wins a game, in which case it will be a tie.
