Feilding Polo Club's spurts.
The weather was beautifully fine for the Feilding Polo Club's Sports, which were held on the racecourse yesterday afternoon, but the attendance was not nearly so large aw the interesting nature of the sports deserved, only from 300 to 400 persons being present. Competitors were present from the Manawatu and Rangitikei Clubs and the several events were well contested, several of them, particularly the tandem race, providing aui using incidents. The officers succeeded admirably in getting the events off to time and everything passed off without any unpleasaut latch, although tlit) tandem race was ran off the second time and a protest was lodged by one of the riders, but everyone good naturedly accepted the decisions 01 the officials. -Vir L).
