o (Per Press Association.) Wellington, Dec. 18. The first annual meeting of tbe Cash Cycling Club was held on the Exhibition grounds yesterday afternoon and evening. There was a iarge attendance, The following are the chief results : — Five Mile Scratch Race. Barker, Christchurch ... 1 Hunt, Kangitikei 2 Southwood, Victoria ... 3 One Mile Fibst Class Handicap Adams, 100 yds 1 Lisle, 180 yds 2 Goodall, 60yds 3 One Mile Second Class Handicap. Withers, 85yd9 1 Goodall, 15yds 2 Butland, 25yds 3 Time, 2min 32 l-sth sec. Half-mile Handicap. Lisle, 70yds 1 Withers, 70yds ... ... 2 Forbes, 30yds 3 Time, lmin lOsec. Glasgow Wheel Race, 2 miles. Adams, 250 yds 1 Goodall, 110 yds 2 Lisle, 250 yds, 3 Time, smin lsec. The racing was fair throughout, but in Borne of the races the handicappers ware badly at fault and the scratch men never had a chance. Adelaide, Dec. 13. ■ At the Bicycle Carnival yesterday, Ken Lewis won the International Scratch Mile in 2min 20aec, and also Five-mile International Scratch Race.
