Pohangina, and offer it for sale weighted with valae of improvements. Mr WillcoTt applied to be allowed to make a charge to picnic parties using the reserve neir Ashurst. Tbe Board declined to do so, and decided to suggest to the Minister that tbe reserve should be vested in local trustees, and be open to the public free of charge. On the motion of Mr Pirani it was de* cided to protest against the action of the Minister in reserving some sections in Momobaki Settlement for an experimen* tal farm after the Board had decided to give selectors a chance of applying for their sections again. The request from tbe Cooaoor settlers for re valuation was refused. Section 86, Jackeytown, to be sold by auction as land of special value, and seo* tions 1401, 1403 and 1405, Bunuythorpe, to be dealt with in a similar manner st the upset price of £5 an acre.
