(Per Press Association). Melbourne, Dee. 5. At the Cycling Carnival the weather was hue, aud there was an enormous attendanco. Results of the chief races : — Austral Wheel Race, two wiles. — Kelloe, 15yds, 1 ; Walne, 20yds, 2 ; Elliot, 150 yds, B. Won easily by ten lengths. Time, 4in in 29sec, which is a record for the race. Five ■ miles International Scratch Race. — Ken Lewis, 1 ; Kuble, 2 ; Porta, 3. The winner came through with a splendid spurt in the last half lap, and won by the length of a machine. Time, 12min 25 4 sth sec.
