Adelaide, This Day. At the hospital enquiry with reference to Dr Corbin's statement tbat he hoped Dr Leith Napier would kill a patient and so damn himself. Corbm subsequently explained to the committee that he never once had thought of allowing tbe patient to die so that Napier might damn himself- Since the time of tbe operation referred to was performed it had occurred to him that the greatest good to the greatest number would have beeu achieved by Napier killing a patient on tho operating tabic and that be thought was perhaps in his mind when be made bis remark.
