The Marquis di Rudini, Premier, stated in the Chamber ot Deputies that political and military necessity demanded the retention of Kassala, but Erythrea, the Italian colony, would pre sent a permanent danger if maintained, as Italy must transform, a military into a Civil Government, and make it a commercial colony. Rome, Dec. 8. The Chamber of Deputies, by a majority of 157 votes, carried a motion expressing confidence in the Marquis di Rudini. The Duke of Sermoneta, Minister for Foreign Affaire, will move for the abandonment of the colony of Erythrea.
