(Per Press Association. ) Sydney, November 13. Parliament was prorogued by proclamation to-day. Tlu; Factories and Shop Hours Dill, Land Tax Assessment Bill, Colored Races Bill, Restriction of Mining Hours Amendment Bill, and Navigation Amendment Bill passed both Houses. In dismissing the Assembly, Mr Reid said it would be. known as the most useful session in Parliamentary history. In the Council the Attorney - General promised the establishment of the Land Tax Court of Appeal immediately they wex>t into recess. The session, he said, had been a record one ho far as measures passed. Adelaide, Nov. 11. In the Assembly, the Coloured Races Restriction Dill passed. A motion to continue the progressive income tax for another year, but to raise the exemption from £125 to was introduced. Pkrth, Nov. 13. It is reported that there are 25 fever cast-s in the vicinity of the Great Boulder mine, and that none of tke patients will enter the hospital. It is feared that the rival medical lodges will cause a deal of friction. One miner has been refused admission to the Hospital on the ground that he was a member of a lodge organised by other than Government medical men.
