Cricket News.

A largely attended and most sue cessful practice was held upon the Feilding Cricket ground yesterday afternoon, good form was shown by a number of players, and judging by the enthusiasm manifested, the efforts of the committee to make cricket popular in Feilding are likely to be successful. Owing to Messrs Gorton and Son's sale to-n>orrow, the usual evening practice will not be held in their paddock this week but will take placa on the cricket ground instead.
