The Premier at Waitotara.
(Per Press Association) Waveeley, Nov. 2. The Premier reached Waitotara. this morning, where several deputations waited upon him in reference to local matters, alter which he visited the State school, and delivered a short address to the children. He then proceeded to Waverley, where the afternoon was spent receiving deputations, &c. This evening the Premier addressed one of the largest political gatherings ever assembled in the Town Hal!, many people being unable to gain admission. Mr William Wilson presided. The speech was mainly on the lines of the one delivered at Patea on Saturday, and was received thronghont with many signs of approval* At the, conclusion Me H,. F. Mason moved, and Mr D. McDonald seconded, a resolution according a vote of thanks for the address and confidence in tjje Governn?ept, which was, op a show of bands, carried almqat unanimously, only two hands being bold up against it.
