(Per Press Association.) Christchurch, Oct. 28. No work of importance was done this morning. Euroclydon, The Shrew, Lord Rosslyn and Aldershot together galloped a mile and a quarter, the first mile solid, the last quarter easing up. Lord Roslyn ran unkindly after going six furlongs. Euroclydon and The Shrew led the otVier pair throughout. Day Star was led out of his box, but did not reach the course, and being very sore was returned there, and did not work. This Day. Euroclydon is first favorite for the Cup at 6 to 1, Fabulist and Lady Zetland 8 to 1, Day Star 10 to 1. Euroclydon and The Shrew were not out to day. Day Star is restricted to walking exercise.
