New Archbishop of Canterbury.
(Per Press Association.) London, Octobei 26. The right Honourable and Right Reverend Frederick Temple, Bishop of London, has been appointed to succeed the late Dr Benson as Archbishop of Canterbury. The City newspapers express surprise at the appointment of Dr Temple, and mildly approve of it. The Daily News considers it a dangerous experiment.
