o Per Press Association.) St. Petersburg, Oct. 26. An epidemic of the malarial fever of a terribly malignant type is still raging in Mery. The death roll from the plague within the last few months numbers 86,000 persons. The greater number of victims were Turcomans, but a large number of Russian soldiers must be in* eluded in the list.
